AIRSAN Guidance Documents

With a survey amongst the AIRSAN Partners topics were identified where guidance in the response to public health threats in air transport is still missing (gap analysis). Next AIRSAN Partners were asked to rank these topics (prioritization).

Following this prioritization, 2 AIRSAN Guidance Documents for the response to public health threats in air transport were developed and tested. One AIRSAN Guidance Document covers remote risk assessment and management of communicable disease events on board an aircraft. The other targets the issue of contact tracing, with a focus on the collaboration between the public health and the aviation sector.
